Research use policy

This policy governs every material supplied by Xilo Research Supply. It is a condition of sale, not a disclaimer, and accounts are closed for breach of it.

For laboratory research use only

Materials supplied under this policy are not for human or veterinary use. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices. They have not been approved or evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration for any use in humans or animals, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Eligible buyers

Xilo supplies academic and government research institutions, hospital and university laboratories, contract research organisations, and commercial research and development groups. An account requires a registered entity, an institutional delivery address, a named responsible scientist, and a signed research-use acknowledgement.

Buyers we decline

Individual consumers, and any order to a residential delivery address.
Any buyer who describes an intended human or veterinary application.
Any buyer requesting dosing, administration, injection, or reconstitution-for-use guidance.
Any buyer intending resale into consumer channels or to individuals.

What Xilo does not provide

Xilo provides no dosing information, no administration guidance, no reconstitution-for-use instructions, and no protocol support, in any circumstance and for any buyer. Experimental design is the responsibility of the buyer and their institution. A request for this guidance is treated as evidence of intended human use, and the account is closed.

Buyer obligations

Handle material as a research chemical of unknown toxicological profile, under your institution's chemical hygiene plan.
Store as specified and dispose of surplus through your institutional chemical waste stream.
Do not transfer material to any person or organisation that would not itself qualify as an eligible buyer.
Where material is imported, act as importer of record and comply with the destination's rules.

Documentation

Each lot ships with its certificate of analysis, chromatogram and mass spectrum, and safety data sheet. Published figures are release specifications. Measured results are lot-specific and appear on the certificate. Buyers are encouraged to verify independently, and a lot returned with a third-party result outside the published specification is refunded in full.

Separation from clinical services

Xilo Research Supply operates independently of Xilo's telehealth services. No material supplied under this policy is dispensed to a patient, offered as a treatment, or connected to any clinical relationship. The two lines share no product and no fulfilment.

Enforcement

Breach of this policy terminates the account without refund of any undelivered balance, and Xilo may decline any order for any reason. Questions go to research@tryxilo.com.
