Two materials. Full documentation. Institutional buyers only.
Xilo supplies BPC-157 and Thymosin beta-4 as laboratory reference materials for in-vitro research. Every batch ships with its certificate of analysis, its identity and purity methods, and its handling requirements. We publish the specification before we ask for an order.
- XR-01
- BPC-157Pentadecapeptide, lyophilised
- XR-02
- Thymosin beta-443-residue polypeptide, lyophilised
Quantities and pricing are quoted per institutional account. There is no public checkout.
Who we supply
Xilo sells to organisations that can hold and use research chemicals lawfully. Accounts are verified before a first order is quoted, and we decline more applications than we accept.
Eligible buyers
Academic and government research institutions, hospital and university laboratories, contract research organisations, and commercial R&D groups with a registered business identity and a delivery address at the institution.
Verification required
Registered entity name and number, institutional delivery address, a named responsible scientist, and a signed acknowledgement that the material is for in-vitro research use and will not be administered to humans or animals.
We decline
Individual consumers, residential delivery addresses, any buyer who describes a human or veterinary application, any request for dosing, administration, reconstitution-for-injection, or protocol guidance, and any resale into consumer channels.
What this material is not
Neither material supplied by Xilo is approved by the FDA for any use in humans or animals. Neither is a dietary supplement. Neither may be compounded, dispensed, resold for consumption, or represented as a treatment for any condition. Xilo provides no dosing information, no administration guidance, and no protocol support, and an account that requests it is closed.
Why the account step exists
Verification is the substantive difference between a research supplier and a consumer storefront wearing research language. It is also what lets us stand behind a chain of custody from synthesis to your bench.
BPC-157
XR-01A synthetic pentadecapeptide corresponding to a partial sequence of human gastric juice protein, first characterised at the University of Zagreb. Supplied lyophilised as the free base.

Thymosin beta-4
XR-02A 43-residue, N-terminally acetylated polypeptide that sequesters monomeric G-actin through its central LKKTETQ motif. Supplied lyophilised.
Nomenclature note: two different molecules are sold as "TB-500"
The name TB-500 is applied in the research market to two distinct substances: full-length thymosin beta-4, and the Ac-LKKTETQ heptapeptide spanning residues 17 to 23, which has a molecular weight of 889.01 g/mol. They are not interchangeable and will not produce comparable analytical results. Xilo catalogue item XR-02 is full-length thymosin beta-4, CAS 77591-33-4. If your protocol calls for the heptapeptide fragment, say so on the request form so we do not ship the wrong molecule.

What ships with every lot
A certificate of analysis that omits its methods is a marketing document. Ours names the instrument method and the acceptance criterion beside every result, so your QC group can decide whether it agrees.
Certificate of analysis
Lot number, manufacture and retest dates, every attribute in the specification table with its method, acceptance criterion and measured result, and the signature of the releasing analyst. Issued per lot, not per product line.
Chromatogram and mass spectrum
The raw RP-HPLC trace with integration and the ESI-MS spectrum for the released lot, supplied as files rather than as an image embedded in a summary sheet.
Safety data sheet
A GHS-format SDS covering hazard identification, handling, storage, exposure control, and disposal, provided before shipment rather than on request.
Chain of identity
The lot on your vial label resolves to the lot on your certificate. Where a document cannot be matched to a physical vial, the material should not be used, and we will replace it.
Independent verification is welcome
Buyers are encouraged to send retains to their own contract laboratory. If a third-party result falls outside our stated specification, return the balance of the lot and we will refund it in full. This policy exists because a specification you cannot check is only a claim.
Handling and storage
Lyophilised peptides are stable when they are kept dry and cold, and degrade quickly when they are not. These are the conditions our specification assumes.
Conditions
As supplied| Parameter | Condition |
|---|---|
| Shipping | Ambient with cold pack, 1 to 3 days domestic |
| Storage, lyophilised | −20 °C, desiccated, protected from light |
| Short-term, lyophilised | 2 to 8 °C, up to 4 weeks |
| Retest interval | 24 months from manufacture |
| Freeze-thaw | Aliquot before freezing; avoid repeated cycles |
| Container | Sealed glass vial, crimped, under inert headspace |
Laboratory handling
Handle as a research chemical of unknown toxicological profile. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, work in a controlled laboratory environment, and follow your institution's chemical hygiene plan and the supplied safety data sheet. Dispose of surplus material through your institution's chemical waste stream.
No reconstitution guidance is provided
Solvent selection, concentration, and preparation are determined by your experimental design and your institution's procedures. Xilo does not publish reconstitution instructions, because in this category such instructions function as administration guidance rather than as laboratory information.
Request documentation or a quotation
Send your institution, the material and quantity, and the name of the responsible scientist. We reply with the current lot's certificate of analysis, the safety data sheet, and a quotation. Nothing is charged and no account is created at this stage.
You send the request
Institution, registered entity, material, quantity, and responsible scientist.
We verify the buyer
Entity and institutional address are checked, and the research-use acknowledgement is signed.
Documents and quotation issue
Certificate of analysis for the current lot, safety data sheet, and pricing against your quantity.
Order and release
Purchase order or invoice, then shipment to the institutional address with documents enclosed.
Contact
Research supply enquiries only. Clinical and patient questions are not handled by this team.
Business details, response times, and every other enquiry route are on the contact page. Shipping conditions are on the shipping page.
Before you write to us
If you are an individual looking to buy either material for personal use, Xilo cannot supply you, and we would rather say so here than waste your time. This is not a formality we work around at the order stage.
Procurement questions
Will you sell to an individual researcher without an institution?
No. Verification requires a registered entity and an institutional delivery address. An independent consultant working under contract to an eligible institution can be supplied through that institution's account.
Can you provide a certificate of analysis before we order?
Yes. The current lot's certificate and safety data sheet are sent with every quotation, before any commitment. If the lot changes before your order ships, you receive the new certificate.
What is your position on purity claims?
We publish a release specification and a per-lot measured result, and we name the method and wavelength for both. A single site-wide purity percentage with no method and no lot reference is not an analytical claim, and we do not make one.
Do you supply dosing, reconstitution, or protocol guidance?
No, in any circumstance. Experimental design is the buyer's responsibility and their institution's. Requests for administration guidance are declined and the account is closed.
What happens if a lot fails our incoming inspection?
Return the balance with your analytical result. If the material is outside the stated specification we refund in full, including shipping. We would rather take the loss than argue with your QC group about a method.
Do you ship internationally?
Import rules for research chemicals vary by jurisdiction and the buyer is the importer of record. Tell us the destination in your request and we will confirm whether we can ship there before you order.
